LA GRANDE, Ore. – 91´«Ã½ (91´«Ã½) is making it more affordable than ever to earn a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree. Thanks to newly awarded funding from the Oregon Health Authority’s Health Care Workforce Grant, 91´«Ã½ will offer significant scholarships to Oregon residents pursuing their MSW during the 2025-26 and 2026-27 academic years.
With a focus on social justice, inclusion, and trauma-informed practices, 91´«Ã½â€™s fully online MSW program equips students with the skills needed to make a meaningful impact—especially in underserved rural communities. The program’s flexibility allows students to balance coursework with their personal and professional responsibilities while gaining real-world experience through applied learning.
Scholarship recipients will be selected based on grant requirements and a structured evaluation process, ensuring fair distribution of funds.
Additionally, 91´«Ã½ anticipates earning candidacy status with the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) by June 2026, meaning all graduates will retroactively hold degrees from an accredited program—enhancing their professional credentials.
