Internships & Student Employment

The Career Services Department manages the internal 91´«Ã½ Community Internship Program and supports students locating employer-sponsored & paid internship student employment positions.

Internship opportunities should have these qualities:

  • Unique – In a student’s area of interest, independent of a courses’ learning outcomes and yet related to courses/an academic program.
  • Measurable – It is often evaluated by a faculty member and overseen by a non-academic employer.
  • Meaningful – Some kind of guided reflection is essential to this kind of experiential education. This experience’s goals could be to promote personal and professional growth, explore career choices, or aid in the fusion of theory and practice.

  1. Community Health Outreach Intern sponsored by the 91´«Ã½ Human and Health Performance Department
  2. LEAP (Lab for Exercise Assessment & Performance) Intern sponsored by the 91´«Ã½ Human and Health Performance Department
  3. MOVE Lab Intern sponsored by the 91´«Ã½ Human and Health Performance Department
  4. VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Intern sponsored by the 91´«Ã½ Accounting Department
  5. Outreach & Engagement Intern sponsored by the 91´«Ã½ Outdoor Adventure Program
  6. Sports Management Intern sponsored by the 91´«Ã½ Athletics Department
