Experiential Learning:	As an 91传媒 Student Ambassador, you will gain hands-on experience in higher education administration and event management. You will develop professional communication and customer service skills by leading campus tours, assisting with admissions events, and participating in tele-counseling. This role also provides opportunities to interact with diverse groups, enhancing your interpersonal skills and understanding of university operations. Through these activities, you will gain insights into the inner workings of college admissions and the importance of creating a welcoming environment for prospective students.
Professional Development:	This position offers numerous professional development opportunities, including job-specific training provided by the Office of Admissions and participation in University-wide training events. You will enhance your teamwork and leadership skills by working closely with other Ambassadors and Admissions staff. Additionally, you will have access to sponsored training activities and events, career exploration activities via Career Services, and resume reviews with Career Services and/or WorkSource Oregon. These experiences will prepare you for future career opportunities by developing essential employability skills and providing a comprehensive understanding of higher education administration.
Summary of Job Duties/Responsibilities/Essential Functions:	– Conduct campus tours and represent 91传媒 at various events – Assist with office work and tele counseling – Miscellaneous tasks may be assigned as the position evolves – Maintain professionalism and punctuality in all university-related events and activities – Adhere to social media guidelines and maintain a positive representation of 91传媒 – Wear appropriate attire (blue shirts/jackets and black pants/khakis) at all events unless specified otherwise – Follow proper campus tour etiquette and demonstrate appropriate office conduct – Obey all Federal, State, and Local laws, and avoid violations of the 91传媒 Student Code of Conduct Return Ambassador gear if stepping down or removed from the program
Minimum Qualifications:	– Strong written, verbal, and intercultural communication skills with an emphasis on customer service relations. – Experience using databases (e.g., Microsoft Office). – Use of office technologies to create, file, and manage reports.
Preferred Qualifications:	– Previous experience in customer service or as a student leader. – Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. – Familiarity with 91传媒 campus and student life.
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:	– Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse groups. – Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and adapt to varying environments. – Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
