2016 National Conference on Peer Tutoring in Writing (NCPTW)

Since this year鈥檚 NCPTW conference was held in the Pacific Northwest, three 91传媒 Writing Tutors had the opportunity to propose presentations, which were accepted:

2016 TYCA-PNW/PNWCA Conference

91传媒 Writing Tutors participated in the 2016 TYCA-PNW/PNWCA Conference held on October 21-22, 2016, at Oregon State University in Corvallis. Pacific Northwest Writing Centers Association (PNWCA) is a regional affiliate of the International Writing Centers Association (IWCA).

The 2016 conference theme was 鈥淏eyond Good Intentions,鈥 inspiring the following presentations:

2015 Northwest Tutoring Center Conference (NWTCC)

Will Bowman, Writing Tutor and recent 91传媒 graduate, won this gorgeous bowl as a door prize while attending the 2015 Northwest Tutoring Center Conference (NWTCC), 鈥淩eaching the Summit of Success,鈥 held February 28, 2015, at Green River College in Washington. This conference included presentations by tutors, faculty, and administrators who provide writing and subject tutoring. Will tutored MBA students during his last year as an 91传媒 student.
