Graduation refers to the actual awarding of a degree once a student has successfully completed all graduation requirements. Upon completion, the degree will be noted on 91´«Ã½ records and will then display on 91´«Ã½ transcripts.
Commencement is a ceremony. It is an opportunity for students, families, friends, and the 91´«Ã½ community to celebrate their academic accomplishments. Please visit the Commencement Webpage for more information. You must file a graduation application with the Registrar’s Office in order to have your degree awarded.

Once your application is received your degree audit will go through three review checks. It will firstbe reviewed by your academic advisor, next discipline chair, and last the dean. Once yourgraduation audit has been reviewed, you will be notified of all remaining degree requirements viayour 91´«Ã½ email. You will see the progression of your application in your Degreeworks.

To be considered for graduation with distinction, an undergraduate student must have a cumulative GPA (including transfer credits, if any) of at least 3.50.
