In addition, reminder exit letters are sent to the most recent address within 30 days of the initial exit notice to those who have an outstanding exit requirement. These letters are sent with a Department of Education exit counseling brochure enclosure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If a student refuses to complete the exit requirement and has requested not to be contacted again, the requirement status is marked with an \u201cX\u201d (No Response from Student) and a comment is logged in the student\u2019s record in the Banner system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the exit interview, students are given loan counseling information (including repayment options) and asked to submit a permanent address and personal references.
