Appropriate documentation may include a letter or report from a qualified professional, such as a physician, psychologist, or learning specialist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>New Students- Registering with Disability Services<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Step 1<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have been admitted to 91´«Ã½ and have received your student ID number (Begins with 910), you will need to submit an application with our office. An application can be located through your 91´«Ã½ Mountie Hub Portal under the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/yukon.accessiblelearning.com\/s-91´«Ã½\/ApplicationStudent.aspx\">AIM- Disability Services<\/a>\u201d application.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Step 2<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Review our common accommodations and provide disability documentation or a letter on official letterhead from your qualified licensed provider specializing in your disability area that clearly states the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A specific diagnosis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Functional limitations in an academic setting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Suggested recommendations for accommodations in an academic setting to minimize the functional limitations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Documentation can be uploaded to the AIM application, faxed, mailed, or delivered in-person during office hours.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Step 3<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon receipt of your application and documentation, your file will be reviewed for approval. You will be sent an email through your 91´«Ã½ account prompting you to schedule an intake meeting with Taylor Smith (Assistant Director of Disability Services ).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Each Term<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Renew your accommodations through requesting them in AIM.
